About Colin Melville...

I am a musician from the Highlands of Scotland, specialising in Highland and Lowland bagpipes and whistles.

​I spent about 14 years working as a touring musician (primarily with the Tannahill Weavers) before moving to South Australia. After about 5 years there I moved back to Scotland and now work as a piping & whistle instructor in the Highlands.

​​This site contains much of my own work (arrangements, recordings, and teaching materials) and also projects I have worked on with others through typesetting and book design.
